Blanc Sile Fabrics takes its name from Sile, a small seaside village north of Istanbul, Turkey. Sile fabric is hand-loomed and traditionally embroidered by local women for generations. Sile fabric is certified with Protected Geographic Indication

The fabrics are not dyed, they are all made with organic cotton yarn (GOTS certified) and loomed together to archive different colors. Turkey is one of the few countries left in the world, that does not use gen genetic modified cotton. Blanc Sile Fabrics is an exclusive local weave with multiple twisted spun yarn used both through the weft and the warp. This gives the fabric a bulkier and thicker appearance as crimped waves.
